The year has just begun and one company that has constantly hit the headlines is Nokia. The company has been rumoured to be working on an Android powered device known as Nokia X. This will be an entry level Smartphone that will see the light of day at this year’s edition of Mobile World Congress. The Nokia X is expected to replace the Asha devices that have been the entry level Smartphones that have ensured Nokia is still relevant in emerging markets.
There are also two other devices from Nokia that are expected to launch at Mobile World Congress later this month. These are the Lumia 930 and the Lumia 630/635. The Lumia 930 is expected to be the company’s flagship that will replace the Lumia 920 while the Lumia 630/635 will replace the mid range Lumia 620.
For the Lumia 930, we expect it to have a quad core processor that clocks at 2.2GHz. The screen size will not be as huge with only 4.5 inches of display with a resolution of 1920×1080. Under the hood, the device will have 2GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage that is expandable using a microSD card. A 2700mAh battery and a 20MP camera will also rock this device.
The Lumia 630 on the other hand will be a mid range device that will have a dual core 1.7 GHz processor, support dual SIM capabilities and have a 4.3 inch screen. 8 GB of internal storage that is expandable will also be available with 1GB of RAM coming standard with each device. At the back will be an 8MP camera while a 2000mAh battery sits below it to provide the necessary power.
