Asus Unveils a New Windows 8.1 Tablet

Asus is one of the companies that seems to understand what the tablet consumers want and need. I mean, every time the company unveils a new device, it always has all the features you want, and the looks, all at a very low cost. This company always gets it right all the time with their amazing line of products.

With such high hopes among consumers, the company has unveiled a new Windows powered tablet targeting students and professionals. The Asus VivoTab Note 8, as it is called, will run on Windows 8.1 platform. It will feature a stylus pen, synonymous with the Galaxy Note, making it easy to use.

The specs for the Asus VivoTab Note 8 are not bad either. It has an 8-inch IPS display screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800. The 8-inch screen size makes this tablet easy to hold the tablet with one hand.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by Intel Atom Z3740 processor. It will have 2GB of RAM, internal storage space of 64GB expandable to 64GB via a microSD card. At the back, the VivoTab Note 8 spots a 5 Megapixel camera with a HD front facing camera.

The VivoTab Note 8 tablet measures 220.9 x 133.8 x 10.95mm and weighs 350g.

As for pricing and availability, we will have to wait a little longer for that to be revealed.
