Rumored: Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini to be released in June/July

Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4 was unveiled about 2 weeks ago and it clearly was a hit with its amazing specs and features. Even when compared with its predecessors, the Galaxy SIII, the S4 still stands out. Before the Galaxy S4 is even available in retail stores for the end consumers, there are rumors that Samsung is working on a smaller version of this device, the Galaxy S4 mini.

It’s no surprise that Samsung will unveil the mini version of the Galaxy S4 this year (in June or July) because last year they had the Galaxy SIII mini that did very well for the company. Samsung has still not confirmed or denied the rumors that it is working on the Galaxy S4 mini but it would make sense for the company to unveil it.

According to sammobile, the Galaxy S4 mini will be available in four different models for different markets.

The Galaxy S4 mini is said to have a 4.3 inch super AMOLED qHD screen with a pixel density of 256ppi, the Galaxy S4 has a 4.99-inch screen with 441ppi. The S4 mini will run on Android 4.2.2 and pack a 1.6GHz dual core processor coupled with Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0.

The price is yet to be determined but it is expected that it will obviously lower than that of the S4. This will mean that the phone will not only be smaller in size and cost but the features as well might be lower. However the smartphone has a plus given the suggested many different variants that are expected.
