ZTE might be working on a Firefox OS Smartphone

A few days ago, we told you that Mozilla was flexing its muscles into the Mobile OS market with the launch of two new smartphones that will run on the Firefox OS. Even though Mozilla has only unveiled two smartphones to run Firefox OS, rumors are that ZTE will also launch its new smartphone running on the Firefox OS next month at the Mobile World Congress.

The rumors originate from a vague press release that was published by ZTE recently indicating that ZTE will unveil two things at the Mobile World Congress: the ZTE Grand Memo and also something to do with ZTE and Mozilla. Most mobile enthusiasts and experts are guessing that the relationship between ZTE and Mozilla refers to a new Firefox OS smartphone to be launched by ZTE.

 Looking at his press release you can definitely see that ZTE is working with Mozilla on something and the best guess is that it is a Firefox OS based smartphone.
