Earlier yesterday, Facebook search got supercharged with the unveiling of a new graph search that offers users a number of ways to use the social network’s search feature to find people, photos, interests and more.
A graph search is a feature that allows Facebook users to find the people, places and the interests that more important and relevant to them on the social network site. With this feature, you will be able to find people even if you have not already connected with them on the site or you do not know their names.
According to Facebook, the graph is will provide people with answers to questions relating to people, photos, places, and interests.
The graph search will appear as a bigger search bar at the top of each page replacing the current white search bar. As soon as you begin typing in the search box, suggestions will start appearing in a drop down. Facebook also added that you will be able to refine and edit the search results using the tools on the right side of the page.
If you are concerned with graph search privacy, Facebook said that this new feature is built with privacy in mind and that you will only see the search results that you can already see somewhere else on Facebook.
