APP OF THE WEEK: Radon – Share Links Using Ultrasound

Radon 796x398 1

Sharing links has never been this easy. Just recently I discovered an amazing app that makes link sharing a breeze. Radon, is an app that enables one to share links across devices using Ultrasound. We have been sharing stuff through bluetooth, NFC and even sociam apps such as Telegram, but with Radon, this is done in an genius way. I will not go into the details of explaining how this works, that will be long and boring for some, I will just go ahead and explain how the app works.

So, lets say you want to share this article with your friends, simply tap on the share icon on your browser and on the pop-up screen select “Beam with Radon” and that’s it. Only requirement is that the receiver must be close to you and have the Radon app open.

What makes Radon easy to use is that you can beam your links to as many people as you can. This means that you can share that YouTube link to your whole class or entire office block by a single tap. Just remeber, every recipient must have the Radon app open.

I tried sending files using Radon and it didn’t work. I wish I could send files and documents through Radon then this would be the ultimate sharing app. Either way, this is a worthy app. I know not most people will see the use of it, but for those who do, you’re welcome 🙂
